Jesus bids us who are unworthy of the privilege to come to Him. Faith in Him comes to Him. Receiving Him is coming to Him. Seeking Him is coming to Him. Wanting to be saved by Him is coming to Him. Coming to Him is forsaking our sin. He welcomes His saved ones back whenever they go astray. Those who always refuse that wonderful one-word invitation COME will one day hear three terrible words, “Depart From Me.” Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. |
